As the biggest names in film came together to honour the best actors, technical achievements and movies of 2013, we couldn’t help but be in awe at the array of beautiful gowns that graced the red carpet that evening. As the week comes to a close we’re taking a look at our top five looks:

Lady Gaga shocked us all at the Oscars in this traditional Versace gown complete with sleek and simple swept back hair and makeup. This old Hollywood glamour look seems to be a match made in heaven for the pop star, which goes to show how much toning things down can really enhance your features.

What’s not to love about this phenomenal dress by Versace. The simple detailing of the halter-neck coupled with the delicate cinching at the waist has Jada Pinkett-Smith looking like an absolute goddess!
