It doesn’t

My life is.

It has no start

No banging gun

To ring in my ears

No race track.

Leave the hare behind

Crawl to a finish line

 

I have a time on earth

To unearth knowledge

Passion

Live love and happiness.

I have a place

Held down to the ground.

Gravity is proud

To have caught another soul.

 

I have friends

And laughter

Forget what comes after.

We need together

Not forever

To be alive.

 

My life is going

I like when it’s slowing

I want more.

Regret is pointless

It drags in questions.

Jump for decisions

Because I am living.

 

Life begins at knowing

We need no time.
